You
should know as much about your opponent as possible. Teams that go into games
most prepared, give themselves a slight advantage
Like
rebounding, defense is mostly about heart and desire. You win games on offence
but you definately win Championships with defence.
Not
really a part of the game that requires a lot of skill but rebounding is mostly
about heart and desire. The best rebounders are the guys on the team that
like to play a physical type game. These type of players are usually the 'unsung
heroes' on many Championship teams.
A phase
of the game that a lot of young players don't work on. A lot of games are
either won or lost at the freethrow line. So if you want to become a 'clutch'
player then being a good free throw shooter is essential.
A part
of the game that is often overlooked. Everyone likes to score but someone
who focuses on getting players the ball in scoring positions is just as valuable
as the person that actually scores the basket.
